Hike for international ladies

Are you a woman with a foreign background living in Skien?

Skien Turlag and Skien kommune would like to invite you to a traditional Sunday hike 1. june together with other international women living in Skien. 

We start at the main entrance at Skien Fritidspark at 1030AM, and will hike to a beautiful and popular forest area, by the pond Hvitsteintjenn. Here we will take a break, make a fire if the wether allows, have a snack and enjoy the nature, before returning the same way. 

The hike is about 4 kilometer in total, and we will be hiking on a forest path. We expect to spend 3-4 hours on this hike, including the break. 

This should be a pleasant hike with time to chat and get to know each other and Skien Turlag. 

Skien Turlag is a local member organisation, and part of Norways biggest outdoors hiking association The Norwegian Trekking Assocication" (Den Norske Turistforening). 

What to bring: 

1. Wear good shoes and clothes according to the weather. Be aware that it may be wet in the forest, so good shoes are a must. 
2. Something to eat and drink if you'd like. 
3. Water bottle. 
4. Seating mat.
